Summer Workshops

This summer I will not be scheduling any workshops. Don't worry though! Instead, if you are interested in taking a Honey Flower workshop you can get a group of friends or coworkers together and book a private group session at a mutually convenient time. The group must consist of at least 4 people.

To reserve a group lesson please email me: angela@honeyflower.ca

Busy Bees Collectively Collecting

What is it about Spring that seems to magically breathe new life into everything? It's like the light goes on and the gears start turning... and bang! Little ideas begin to flower into big realities! Despite all of the changes occurring in my personal life and in the world of Honey Flower, there is one such flowering idea that I can't stop being excited about. Myself and several of my favorite women-in-business have joined forces to create a collective for green weddings and special events. We are called Bouquet and we hope to launch ourselves into the eco scene in Montreal within the next few months. Business and cross-promotional opportunities aside, this is just an amazing group of women who came together organically and have very strong shared views on how businesses can be managed sustainably, and how weddings and events can be much much greener than is traditionally the case. I am having so much fun working with the ladies of Bouquet!

I will keep you posted on the official details and of the launch party date!

In the meantime, if you are planning a wedding or event and you would like to take an environmentally friendly approach, feel free to contact me as we are already taking on projects!

Buy Something Local Day

I just found out about a new movement, started right here in Montreal! It's called Buy Something Local Day and it falls on April 25. The idea is to encourage folks to buy locally and to really think about where they spend their money and why. I'll be at the boutique on April 25th and I would love to see you there before we officially close the shop at the end of the month. You can buy local and say goodbye, or hello!

April Workshops

Horray for Spring! Even though it is a dreary, rainy day, I'm so glad to finally be rid of my Canada Goose parka and heavy clunky sorels:) James and I just moved to a new apartment. I think it's really cosy and I'm very excited about the back yard where I'll be putting my newfound gardening knowledge to work after a few months of Urban Gardening 101! I will probably start another little blog just to journal it's progress:)

If you want to get out of the rain and keep the economic crisis at bay by learning to make your own beauty products, then I would suggest getting some friends together and signing up for a Honey Flower Workshop this month!

15th - Green Cleaning: 6-8pm, $30
18th - I ♥ My Baby - 5-7pm, $35
23rd - DIY Spa night - 6-8pm, $35
26th - Soapmaking 1 - 11am-1pm $45

Contact Angela at info@honeyflower.ca or 514-886-5586 to reserve you place.
